老了，我就住在海边

老了，我就住在海边
一所遮风避雨的木屋即可
无需网络，也不必上锁
养一只猫，一只狗
同享三餐,观日出日落

老了，我就住在海边
自觉地退出大陆的居所
随浪花的脚印，舒展在沙滩里
随海鸥展翅，一同呼吸
眼底是大海明暗中变幻的光泽

春秋的芒锷上，草木枯了又绿
我已不再去辨认南北东西
是非对错也找到了各自的归宿
无垠的大地上，水又从天而降
朝着大海奔忙

蔚蓝的天空里，干净的云朵
飘过，我在门口的院子里
种菜，品茶，听潮起潮落
致兴时，歌颂祖国的山河
继续老着，坐拥大海的辽阔

When I Was Old I’d Like to Live by the Sea

I’d like to live by the sea when I was old
A wooden shelter will be ok
With no network, it does not need to be locked
I will raise a dog and a cat
With me sharing meals and watching the sunrise and sunset

I’d like to live by the sea when I was old
I will consciously quit my dwelling of continent
With waves’ footprints stretching in the sand
Stretching wings with gulls, breathing with gulls
It is the sea’s luster changing secretly, in my eyes

On the edge of Spring and Fall, vegetation is withered and green
I am no longer to identify the north and south
Things right or wrong also found their own home
Water from heaven, on the boundless earth
Towards the sea in bustle

In blue sky, clean clouds
Is drifting away, in front of my door in the yard
I am planting vegetables, having tea, listening to the ebb and flow
When I have an interest, I will praise of the mountains and rivers of my motherland
Sitting on the sea’s vast, continuous I am old
