Yesterday's roosters lie on the ashes of dreams,
Look – it's our fleeting genes,
And we, and the shadow… running through the world.
Peaceful people in peace,
A peaceful cat on a peaceful dance floor,
And there, far away, Grishny lies propped up on paper…
There the sun doesn't scorch, there the moon doesn't stay silent.
There Grodni, the envoy of the dead, is valued.
And people spin in the rye –
Yesterday's watchful moments.

Guan Dangsheng, born in 1963, is a poet of the Trash Poets School. He began to write poetry in 1986 and has published poems in more than 100 poetry journals and anthologies. Brother Yin, your filial piety shakes clouds in the skies.
In your article you’re crying and bleeding with love,
Every word is in forever sorrow and tenderness.
Going home in pain, but home doesn’t exist,
Poor brother, calls your father but he didn’t hear you.
Your great grief and sorrow, break your heart,
It moved me a poet also in your sorrow.
