A BEGGAR DIED

"A beggar died!" a dog shouted so loudly,
And barked "good morning" in its own way,
Weary and worn with his steps, slowly,
From the tiring of night, with eyes in despair.

"A beggar died!" he screams to heard everybody,
On alleys he will not see more her to give him a crust,
Will not feel her hands that caressed him gently,
For him her death was a key on the door.

Oh, if only he knew, he would bring something,
Something he would surely find in trash bins,
With it, he had shared worries and hunger,
So he would stay by her side like an old friend.

He tries to warm her ice face with his tongue,
"A beggar died today!" he cries in the corner,
And he barks so bitterly as if he would swallow,
The cold heart of this soulless icy world.

Only the municipality workers buried the beggar,
His old friend followed her in tears,
She escaped from poverty, saved from violence,
As if she was too much for this desolate world.

Only the stars above mourned for her,
The moon cast its farewell shadow upon,
Was she the wrong figure on this earth?
People didn't gift her a bit of mercy.

The dog's whimper fades away into the sky,
When they took her, nameless, to the grave,
Neither the moon nights, nor the shine days,
Have never seen such bitter tears on the grave.

“一个乞丐死了！”一只狗大声叫道，

She started writing poetry 10 years ago and kept it to herself, a year before the Pandemic hit, she attended a poetry workshop which made her realize her passion for writing is more than a just a hobby. I want a lion to remember me
I will arrive to his cage
and call him from afar by his angelic name
Lionel, Lionel
He will turn to me
with a great growl
he will rise up
stretching his head back
A slight quiver will run from his feet
all the way to his sunny mane
His bright direct stirring stare
Will meet my loving compassionate remembering eyes
Longing for snuggles and soft warm tongue kisses
Longing for the loving delighted pre-roars
To the beast he used to… that he is now
To the antediluvian memory of Lion and Me
I will reach out through the bars
And Lionel will weep in deep roars
And so, we will stand
Forgiving days of innocence love
From afar

非马Fei Ma, English name William Marr, is a Chinese American poet. He has published more than 30 collections of Chinese and English poems, 13 collections of translated poems and 3 collections of prose. Gao Chang, real name Gao Chongbing, is a contemporary writer and poet. He once worked in Turpan Regional Literary Federation. He is the Top ten contemporary poets of Gao, and top ten contemporary poets of China. He has published more than 3,000 poems, more than 20 literary works, and won more than 40 domestic and foreign awards. Partridges in the Sky · Meeting White Dew in Guangxi

White Dew comes, north geese return again, autumn sounds a season in flying colorful clouds.
Wind comes to Miao village, mulberry dyed by rosy clouds, rain hits golden beach with fat crabs.
Beautiful Yangshuo, mighty Guilin, three streets and two lanes with crazy passers-by. 
Floating clouds understand poets’ idea more, mist and ripples of rivers and sea dyed green trees.

Sophy Chen, Lihua Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, publisher and world poetry manager. She is the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards, the President of Sophy International Translation Publishing House, Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the Chief Editor and Translator of Sophy Chen's Translation World Poetry Yearbook (C-E Bilingual), Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine, and Sophy Poetry & World Translation Websites. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, and a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan. Tetiana Vasylivna Hritsan-Chonka, born on April 29, 1964, in Vilkhivtsi, Zakarpattia region, is a Ukrainian writer and teacher. She has authored 14 poetry collections and a novel-essay. People in a circle, amongst them Christ and smoke.
Yesterday's roosters lie on the ashes of dreams,
Look – it's our fleeting genes,
And we, and the shadow… running through the world.
Peaceful people in peace,
A peaceful cat on a peaceful dance floor,
And there, far away, Grishny lies propped up on paper…
There the sun doesn't scorch, there the moon doesn't stay silent.
There Grodni, the envoy of the dead, is valued.
And people spin in the rye –
Yesterday's watchful moments.

Going home in pain, but home doesn’t exist,

Dimitris P. Kraniotis is an award-winning Greek poet and medical doctor. He studied Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He lives in Larissa (Greece) and works as an internal medicine physician. He is the author of 11 poetry books in Greece and abroad. Also he is the Editor-in-chief of an international anthology in English (205 poets from 65 countries). He has won many international awards for his poetry which has been translated in 36 languages and published in many countries. He has participated as guest poet in many International Poetry Festivals. He is Academician in Italy, Doctor of Literature, President of 22nd World Congress of Poets (Greece 2011), President of World Poets Society (WPS), Director of the Mediterranean Poetry Festival (Larissa, Greece), Chairman of the Writers for Peace Committee of PEN Greece and member of World Poetry Movement (WPM) and Poets of the Planet (POP). His translated poems are selected in “Sophy Chen’s Translation · World Poetry Yearbook 2021202220232024”(C-E Bilingual)and etc.

The Rock Inside Stream Bed

Be silent for water is flowing
Swift, deep, unending, icy cold over the rock.

Is there the spring?
Festoon climbing the trail
Voice of birds resounding down

Shadows of trees tremble on the rock, shade or sun —
How can the colors of wildflowers be unscathed forever?
The stone closes its eyes to let the water sweep over.
Languors’ with ashen thighs
Cause the tree-shadows again to move and rise;
Gentle drizzling rain disordered flies
Creeping into the deepest crevices.

Clouds stop where the clouds are...
The fragrant odor of ripe guava seeps through the forest
A porcupine ruffles its quills, goes still.

Above all in this moment
Let’s stay where you are

Deal with the Mess

This key is a still life spread out in the palm of my one hand
Like the years’ projection, which fictions a season
Holding it, little by little its ice coldness
Is going into my mind, opening my desolation one by one, or closing the time?
In this night, i deal with the mess of my lifetime
But just tear me apart into pieces
The patience is a sharp needle
It’s calmly stitching together unrelated things
For example, it sewn the expression on the clock, and sewn the mood into the wall
The completion unable to piece together, is more like a wheelchair disability
The mind is clear, but the hands and feet can not feel
The gaze is a mass of displaced debris
Like petals, and also like glass
Returning to the body, accumulating the weakness, or tingling
In the air, what keeps to rise and spread, are the blind spots of the human world
To delete the soul, and all traces of the soul
There is useless to have a light. In this evening
I only hold the stone to keep warm, and I don’t care about the increased thing
That is the hardness of loneliness, or the weight of survival

留在草原的根，让绿和鹅黄

The grassland no road, can not go out of the spring, summer, autumn and winter
There is no enough time to purify and quench
The wind, the rain, the snow, and the cold
As time goes by
The earth is cloudy, and the sky is silent
It gives sadness to the far away figure of eagle and wild goose
The roots left in the grassland, let green and goose yellow
Counting the years of the rings and looking forward to ten thousand rays of sun glow
The whip is high, and the hooves are light
The grassland is vast, and the river is flowing fast
As spring comes, willows as silk
Took away the sadness hidden in my heart
As the wind blows through the high land, the grass sprouts
The sun is shining and the birds are back home
Drums and horns
Have awakened the sleeping pastures of city and countryside
The dust is rolling and the wind is howling
They’ve repaired the road smooth from roughness, and pulled the tide in danger
Wave to the mountains on the horizon

Enchanted prince

Sometimes I feel
like enchanted prince,
charming by day,
hideous by night,
twilight is like a transition
between the pane of worlds.
Though the stars are in the sky,
millions of flashlights,
the night takes their batteries
to pour anxiety in my soul,
(am I some kind of pot?).
I call the sun for help,
the emergency number doesn’t work,
murkiness invites me to dance,
I wonder if this crazy trance
will ever end?
Someone overdid the length of the crepuscule.

谯达摩，1966年6月5日出生，贵州沿河人。先后就读于复旦大学、首都师范大学、北京大学，获教育学硕士学位。先后供职于北京教育科学研究院、中央教育科学研究所、《诗刊》编辑部、中央美术学院。出版有诗集《摩崖石刻》等。21世纪中国第一个诗歌流派“第三条道路写作”代表诗人，中国第一个后现代主义诗歌流派“北京诗派”代表诗人。现在中国农业大学主讲百年中国新诗史纲。被翻译诗歌入选《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴2022/2023》(汉英对照)等。

Qiao Damo, was born on June 5, 1966, in Yanhe, Guizhou. He has studied at Fudan University, Chinese Capital Normal University, and Peking University, and received a master’s degree in education. He has worked at the Beijing Institute of Education and Science, Central Institute of Educational Sciences, the Editorial Department of the “Poetry”, and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He has published a collection of poems “Cliff Stone Carvings” and so on. He is one of   “Third Road Writing” representative poets of Chinese first poetry genre in the 21st century and one of representative poets of “Beijing Poetry School” of Chinese first postmodernist poetry genre. At present, he has lectured on the century of Chinese new poetry history in China Agricultural University. The shadows of the sun and the river can not come together and whisper to each other

苏菲（Sophy Chen），本名陈丽华，中国当代诗人、翻译家、出版人、世界诗歌活动策划人。生于陕西汉中略阳；毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。“苏菲国际翻译出版社”社长、“苏菲世界诗歌奖”创始人、“苏菲世界诗歌博物馆”馆长、《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴》(汉英对照)主编、《苏菲诗歌&翻译》(英汉）纸质世界诗刊主编、“苏菲诗歌&世界翻译网”主编。PENTASI B 世界诗歌联谊会行政管理、中国翻译协会会员、卡萨克斯坦“世界各民族作家联盟”会员、意大利“聂鲁达文学协会”名誉会员、意大利“帕那苏斯诗歌奖”评审委员会成员、意大利“卢修斯·阿纳乌斯·塞内卡”艺术与哲学学院 驻华大使、意大利帕那苏斯诗歌奖驻华大使。1989年开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。

Our Palm Trees

Our palm tree is shy and slender like a goose. When you look at me, I feel her like a princess who came from the smiling cities. The colored dates under the green fronds do not turn yellow. Our palm tree has eyelashes longer than a river, so you can see our ancestors' ships sailing among its stormy waves. She doesn't dissolve easily in tight dreams because you can feel her rippling pulse, but you can't understand her dancing smile behind her shawl. Near her feet there is a spring of fresh water caressing her smooth cheek, and around her brown waist, desires that have stolen my heart like a yellow bird. Despite her soft veil, she is unable to conceal her radiant spirit, and despite her amazing height, she cannot conceal her shining fingers.

苏菲简介

苏菲（Sophy Chen），本名陈丽华，中国当代诗人、翻译家、出版人、世界诗歌活动策划人。生于陕西汉中略阳；毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。“苏菲国际翻译出版社”社长、“苏菲世界诗歌奖”创始人、“苏菲世界诗歌博物馆”馆长、《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴》(汉英对照)主编、《苏菲诗歌&翻译》(英汉）纸质世界诗刊主编、“苏菲诗歌&世界翻译网”主编。PENTASI B 世界诗歌联谊会行政管理、中国翻译协会会员、卡萨克斯坦“世界各民族作家联盟”会员、意大利“聂鲁达文学协会”名誉会员、意大利“帕那苏斯诗歌奖”评审委员会成员、意大利“卢修斯·阿纳乌斯·塞内卡”艺术与哲学学院 驻华大使、意大利帕那苏斯诗歌奖驻华大使。1989年开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。
