The wine is “light but complex,”
as the table of four sit back
and swap smiles
around a bottle of best red —
in this polished tavern fronting
a grand avenue.
Then he, smart suit and a slight bow,
praises the valley, the region, and the year
when the damp of April
extended into May, joined with
arid June and parched July
to generate the sweetest grapes —
“light but complex.”
The diners sip and smile again,
having put to sleep the threat of riots.
The image of a mangled throat in the back alley
is obscured by the rhythm of the servers,
as they glide lightly by each table —
the complexity well-hidden within their grace.

As I was young my mom planted some flowers
In front of our old wooden house in springs
In my memory they were peony, China rose…
But what I loved the most was the tuberose
In summer night it’s a nice time to me
You could sit in yard to listen the night birds
Singing on cliffs, insects singing in bushes
And look at the moon moving in night skies
However, while your heart was beating at pace
With insects singing and in the sudden
From nowhere floating a ray of fragrance
In the moon a bunch of tuberose blossoms
As these flowers always bloom in moon nights
Your great poem may be living in its fragrance

Sonnet 3
By William Shakespeare
Look in thy glass, and tell the face thou viewest
Now is the time that face should form another;
Whose fresh repair if now thou not renewest,
Thou dost beguile the world, unbless some mother,
For where is she so fair whose unear’d womb
Disdains the tillage of thy husbandry?
Or who is he so fond will be the tomb
Of his self-love, to stop posterity?
Thou art thy mother’s glass, and she in thee
Calls back the lovely April of her prime:
So thou through windows of thine age shall see
Despite of wrinkles this thy golden time.
But if thou live, remember’d not to be,
Die single, and thine image dies with thee.
Look in thy glass, and tell the face thou viewest
Now is the time that face should form another;
Whose fresh repair if now thou not renewest,
Thou dost beguile the world, unbless some mother,
第一句:“Look in thy glass, and tell the face thou viewest”一共10个单词,每个单词都是单音节词,共10个音节,对吧!
第二句 “Now is the time that face should form another”一共十个单词,前8个单词,是单音节词,“Now is the time that face should form”8个单词8个音节,最后一个单词 “another”[ə 'nʌðə],2个音节,加起来一共10个音节。
第三句“Whose fresh repair if now thou not renewest”8个单词,第一第二个单词是单音节、第三个单词“repair”[rɪ'peə] 是双音节词、4,5,6,7“if now thou not”这四个词也是单音节、最后一个单词“renewest” [rɪ'njuːst] 是双音节词。
第四句“Thou dost beguile the world, unbless some mother”也是8个单词,第一第二个单词是单音节词,第三个单词beguile [bɪ’gaɪl] 是双音节词、第四第五“the world”是单音节词、第6个单词“unbless”[ʌn'bles] 是双音节词、最后2个单词“some mother” [sʌm] ['mʌðə],一个单音节一个双音节,mother ['mʌðə] 和上边的“another”[ə 'nʌðə]一样几乎是三音节词。
For where is she so fair whose unear’d womb
Disdains the tillage of thy husbandry?
Or who is he so fond will be the tomb
Of his self-love, to stop posterity?
第一句:“For where is she so fair whose unear’d womb” 共9个单词里面只有一个单词是双音节词“unear'd”(发音 un + ear +尾音d) uneared的略写[ʌniəd]。
第二句:“Disdains the tillage of thy husbandry?”6个单词,三单词“the,of thy”是单音节,其它单词是双音节:“Disdains” [dɪs'deɪnz], tillage [ 'tɪlɪdʒ], husbandry ['hʌzbəndrɪ] 前2个单词是双音节词,最后一个是三音节词,加起来7个音节,再加上三个单音节词,一共十个音节。
第三句:“Or who is he so fond will be the tomb”一共十个单词,每个都是单音节,一共10个音节。
第四句:“Of his self-love, to stop posterity”一共7个单词,除过最后一个单词“posterity”[pɒ'sterɪtɪ] 是三音节单词之外,其它单词都是单音节,加起来一共10个音节。
Thou art thy mother’s glass, and she in thee
Calls back the lovely April of her prime:
So thou through windows of thine age shall see
Despite of wrinkles this thy golden time.
先看第一句:“Thou art thy mother’s glass, and she in thee”共9个单词,其中“mother’s” ['mʌðə - s -] 算是双音节词。
第二句:“Calls back the lovely April of her prime”其中lovely ['lʌvlɪ], April ['eɪprəl] 双音节词,其它都是单音节词,一共加起来10个音节。
第三句:“So thou through windows of thine age shall see” 除过 “windows” ['windəuz] 是双音节词,其它都是单音节词,加起来共10个音节。
第四句:“Despite of wrinkles this thy golden time” Despite [dɪ'spaɪt] , wrinkles ['rɪŋkl -z-], golden ['gəʊld(ə)n] 是双音节,其它四个是单音节词,总共加起来10个音节。
But if thou live, remember’d not to be,
Die single, and thine image dies with thee.
先看第一句: “But if thou live, remember’d not to be”除过remember’d= remembered [rɪ'membəd] 是三音节词之外其它都是单音节词,因此加起来一共10个音节。
As I was young my mom planted some flowers
In front of our old wooden house in springs
In my memory they were peony, China rose…
But what I loved the most was the tuberose
先看第一句: “As I was young my mom planted some flowers”,9个单词除过“planted” [pla:ntid] 是双音节之外,其它单词均为单音节词,一共加起来10 音节。
第二句“In front of our old wooden house in springs”除过 wooden ['wʊd(ə)n] 是双音节之外,其它单词均为单音节词,一共加起来10 音节。
第三句:“In my memory they were peony, China rose…”memory ['mem(ə)rɪ],近似双音节词,peony ['piːənɪ] 双音节词,共四个音节,加上其它6个单音节词,一共10个音节。
第四句:“But what I loved the most was the tuberose”tuberose ['tjuːbərəʊz] 这个单词如果吞掉['tjuːbə] 结尾的[ə] 算是双音节词了。
In summer night it’s a nice time to me
You could sit in yard to listen the night birds
Singing on cliffs, insects singing in bushes
And look at the moon moving in night skies
第一句:“In summer night it’s a nice time to me”。“summer”['sʌmə]是双音节词。为了把音节控制在10个以内it is 缩略成It’s算一个音节。
第二句:“You could sit in yard to listen the night birds”。 “listen” ['lɪs(ə)n] 是双音节词,其它都是单音节词,加起来刚好10个音节。里面“in yard”本来应该写成“in the yard” 但是为了不多出来一个音节,就省略了定冠词“the”。
第三句“Singing on cliffs, insects singing in bushes”。
第四句: “And look at the moon moving in night skies”。
However, while your heart was beating at pace
With insects singing and in the sudden
From nowhere floating a ray of fragrance
In the moon a bunch of tuberose blossoms
第一句:“However, while your heart was beating at pace”。
第二句:“With insects singing and in the sudden” insects ['ɪnsɛkt],singing ['sɪŋɪŋ],sudden ['sʌd(ə)n] 都是双音节词,再加上其他四个单音节单词,一共10个音节。
第三个句子,“From nowhere floating a ray of fragrance”。
第四个句子:“In the moon a bunch of tuberose blossoms”。
As these flowers always bloom in moon nights
Your great poem may be living in its fragrance
第一句:“As these flowers always bloom in moon nights”。
第二句:“Your great poem may be living in its fragrance”。
I don’t know
That the tourism project
Is still being
Travelers in the yacht on the sea of Zhuhai
Watch Macao
13 years ago, I had watched it
I had watched that piece of land
That still belonged to Portugal
Maybe I had done it once
So it had been waving to me in 12 years
I received
An invitation of The Macao International Poetry Festival
Which is my first overseas’ invitation in my life
Having been deliberately put obstacles in my way
I completed all my formalities in many difficulties
Only before I would be checked in at the airport
The relevant department issued a notice
Can’t go…
It was also 12 years ago
It was received back
However, at this moment
At the night with spring wind touching my face
I am only on the dark sea
On the ship’s deck watching Macao
On the territorial waters of my motherland
Watching the territory of my motherland
It is a kind of the unique Chinese peak experience
As if the nostalgia is all Chinese people’s compulsory course
As if there is a masochistic nature of them
整个诗节近似对仗:四个诗句连续四个以“I”开头,句首对偶;第二句与第三句纯对偶句:I am my abbot/ I am my monk (均为,主语+系动词+表语);
A Way to Console Myself
I live in a temple where no one burns incense and kowtows
I am my abbot
I am my monk
Ichant to myself
第二诗节:两个“ing”、“d”、“s”押韵:第一句里的“running”和第三句的lurking隔行内部押韵;第一句里“wind”和“around”同一诗行内部押韵;第一行里“spy on my和第二行里“hide my”元音发音相同spy [spai],my [mai], 属于隔行内部押韵;第三行和第四行句尾押韵“wheatgrass/ flowers”,末尾发“[s] 音。
The running wind spy on my information around
I hide my name
Lurking under a wheatgrass
To drink dew and appreciate flowers
第三诗节:两个who has 行内对偶;第一行和第二行里面“has”里面的辅音“[s]”在本诗节里反复出现构成很美丽的摩擦音:who has / who has / tips of inscribing / seeking。
Don’t askwho has been promoted
No matterwho has made a fortune
With alight breeze and brightmoon, in thenight, go outalone
Shake off the dirt on my body
And talk about tips of inscribing poem and seeking doctrine with nightingale
第四诗节:第一诗句,连续三个“s”辅音首尾连续押韵On river banks,starssparkling—; 第一诗句sparkling和第二诗句的lighting隔行词尾押韵;everynight和第三诗节的in the night押韵;最后一句里的Leavealone和第三诗节的go outalone押韵;officials set fire “s”连韵;year afteryear,行内间隔押韵。
On river banks,stars sparkling—
Only to see people lighting every night
Leave alone officials set fire year after year

A Dialogue Between the Chinese Painting and the Oil Painting
Floating
You don’t know the true or false perspective
Heavy
You don’t know the lively spirit and charming style
I’m —proud of history
I’m —bearing the nature
Joke
That’s called to put pen to paper hastily
Absurd
That’s called the strong color painting
I’ll teach you how to be personally on the scene
I’ll show you how to be superb
What’s this? No color
Several doodle
What’s this? Color dignified
The floating world in magnificence
My generation, Socrates
My generation, philosophers of Zhuzi Beijia
The Renaissance Europe all around
The voice of the flouring Tang Dynasty through China
Hehe
The logical universe
Haha
The nothing world
No more than like a set of wood, in the valley
With clouds, is emptily named as Gelsemium elegans
No more than like a lion in the narrow
In flood, it, suddenly dropped again once more, named as the beast
On that set of wood, there are tricks of deep lines
It refrains its sensitive to Zen, and refrains from God’s test
It finally became the lion’s small part of compassion
I was in the middle of them
To transform the role —
If the world can round once again
I am willing to be there and ready to disappear forever
If I can meet you
When we are in the most painful time
Let’s named as the snakes, or green snakes
Revised on April, 2014
Some Monumental Things
Sine the day that a fire was in yard
Attic has no longer belonged to the traditional objects only for display
It shakes his feathers
Flying away along a group of ancient buildings
And flying away along classical mythology
In a Virtual Fables: it looks for
Looks for, a place that can stay
It’s flush with the hand along the way
It’s flush with the second hand along the way
Sometimes, to face with remarks in dark night, bar
And sensitive things
Whenever talking about “cabbage”
And red roses —
A bird is flying, flying to the sky
It begins to precipitate, precipitate in some things
For example, to think of the fire sequelae
January 4, 2014
— Departures
I really should not —
Should not see those lonely rice fields, like the sunset, like the death
The enchanted cello, pauses in D major for a while
Looking back and keeping silence. It will be in E minor for a while
In tears, waving at the ridge with his lover in emotion
In sight of fear, often hide a jar of free water and the mellow freedom
I like his hidden hands
And a labor of painting accompanied him. Like a lot of paints
And some quiet brushes let him copy, and to be obscenity
Like Joe Hisaishi’s “Departures” —
Listening and listening, the summer appears in front of me
After watching once, mourning once, the summer is thin once
Including the last words of life, shadow, and footsteps —
Sometimes, a shot lens rushing, like a flounder on his forehead, seal the curfew, chime stone, and wooden fish
Including the distant bushes, visitors, paths, and temples
— As if it’s quiet
As if it’s astray, and as if all things are in impermanence
To compare with those beautiful notes, what about those seculars can do
Everyone does not need to say, in his summer, sunset, and rice field —
Often are faster than death and calm than life
August 16, 2013
On This Day
You just stay a moment
All kind of lives have changed —
On this day
For the bird’s nest in the south
The north belongs to another home in galaxy
Windflowers flying, horizon moving
It is i miss you —
Miss your turning movements, and miss your wet poison gas
On this day
— World turns soft, and also turns to hate
Moonlight on the Sacrificial Altar
On the sacrificial altar of wheat field, moonlight
And cultivated water, slowly grow a thin microgroove
I put my body bone embedded in the night
A handful ear of wheat is a head higher than the sacrificial alter
As if there is the invisible pathology
At start, it is the feet body, the heart, and then trance
I think I’m waiting for a fish to appear
And it is very similar to the white on canvas
An ancient ritual, and
Those mountains that ever harvest moonlight on the water
No matter how darkness they remained
I have got used to this emptiness alone
I’d like to live by the sea when I was old
A wooden shelter will be ok
With no network, it does not need to be locked
I will raise a dog and a cat
With me sharing meals and watching the sunrise and sunset
I’d like to live by the sea when I was old
I will consciously quit my dwelling of continent
With waves’ footprints stretching in the sand
Stretching wings with gulls, breathing with gulls
It is the sea’s luster changing secretly, in my eyes
On the edge of Spring and Fall, vegetation is withered and green
I am no longer to identify the north and south
Things right or wrong also found their own home
Water from heaven, on the boundless earth
Towards the sea in bustle
In blue sky, clean clouds
Is drifting away, in front of my door in the yard
I am planting vegetables, having tea, listening to the ebb and flow
When I have an interest, I will praise of the mountains and rivers of my motherland
Sitting on the sea’s vast, continuous I am old
From afar
Or near I rub to light a fire
Lights in the dim, its shadows pouring down let people produce desire
In cold winter night
Autumn has already shed its autumn clothes
Gently, I imagine her shadow
The moon in the heart of heaven
Even if you try to escape, or continue
To hide
I can look back, and in my light smile quietly pick up
A line of white moon
You’ve lost
Washing Autumn
Through space and time
I'm leisurely turning your passion
If I love you, you’re one of my eyes
Brought me the bright lights
Only one night I didn’t see your trail
Shadows addicted to drunkenness in shadows
If I am waiting for the autumn coming with strangers
In the time of poetic floating
Yangtze River, water long, waves tiding to sweep over the seawall
Have been in a trance
Eyes to the horizon
Yeas later, in the far South China Sea, the flowers will bloom in purple and blue-green
Honey, I will do your moonlight lover
Come with me and go back by winds
The original confession and washing autumn by writing on paper can just completely cure
Lovesickness
Elegance
You come here
I am waiting for crape myrtle flowering
In the tender night wind, a drop of water swings its hidden waist
A land of love
Is overflowing in a lonely city
If I’ve learned to melt as the salt done
You see ah!
It is the floating white wrapped with where you go
In the booming days
At the beginning of sunset, as if there’s a wanderer swimming towards me
Missing You in September
The first day in September when it passed 1a.m
Time in a hurry
I sat across from you looking at your shadow
If we love each other
In a moment stretching our hands
We can touch our faces
People are weaving their love nets as a spider ah!
In September missing their lovers
Chrysanthemum fallen will be turned into your woman
She forgot the sadness and the beauty of loss
Waiting for you fall asleep, her fragrance hidden in the surging fall’s water
After dawn, I think he's
Sky
Must be cool and bright
The Butterfly Dream
Have been in quiet trance
I want to ask the sky
The Red Dragon somersaults in the shy and which rice field is your lucky one?
Occasional flashing the dark clouds
The Purple Rain falling over you threatened
The green rippling wheat is very sweet, very bright
The lingering lotus flowers bloom on lotus
My mother ah!
In recent days I gently passing around you, holding your one hand
Purple lotus blooming in one palm
Watching my shadow grown up
I will miss you after I left Harbin
The green fields along surging Heilongjiang River
The poetry flowing as if I’m walking in the Ussuri River, and let the water in Heilongjiang River
Splashing pine flowers
