乡愁是一枚小小的邮票
我在这头
母亲在那头

长大后
乡愁是一张窄窄的船票
我在这头
新娘在那头

后来啊
乡愁是一方矮矮的坟墓
我在外头
母亲在里头

而现在
乡愁是一湾浅浅的海峡
我在这头
大陆在那头

Homesickness

Homesickness is a small stamp
I am here
Mother is there

When I grew up
Homesickness is a narrow steamer ticket
I am here
The bride is there

Later
Homesickness is a low grave
I am outside
Mother is inside

Now
Homesickness is a shallow channel of bay
I am here
The mainland is over there

余光中简介

余光中（1928-2017），台湾著名诗人、散文家、批评家、翻译家。祖籍福建永春，生于江苏南京，曾就读于金陵大学外语系（后转入厦门大学），1952年毕业于台湾大学外文系。1959年获美国爱荷华大学（LOWA）艺术硕士。先后任教台湾东吴大学、师范大学、台湾大学、政治大学，现任台湾中山大学文学院院长。曾获得包括《吴三连文学奖》、《中国时报奖》、《金鼎奖》、《国家文艺奖》等台湾所有重要奖项，已出版诗文及译著共40 余种。
2017年12月14日，诗人余光中在高雄医院过世，享年90岁。

Yu Guangzhong’s Bio

Yu Guangzhong (1928-), is the famousTaiwanese poet, essayist, critic and translator. The land of his ancestors, Yongchun, Fujian, he wasborn in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. He studied at the ForeignLanguage Department of Jinling University (later transferred to Xiamen University)and graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages of Taiwan Universityin 1952. 1959 he got his Master of Arts from the United States Iowa University(LOWA). He has taught at Soochow University,TaiwanNormal University, TaiwanUniversity and Politics University.He is currently the president of Taiwan Sun Yat-sen University. He has wonall important awards inTaiwan,including “Wu Sanlian Literature Award”, “China Times Award”, “Golden TripodPrize” and “National Arts Prize.” He has published over 40 kinds of poetry andtranslation works. He died at the age of 90 in Kaohsiung,Taiwan on December 14,2017.
