我们很荣幸地宣布2019年中国世界诗歌节主持人，主要赞助人和共同组织者——苏菲Sophy Chen女士将于2018年7月29日至30日抵达菲律宾，预示即将在中国广州举行最大规模的世界诗歌盛会的到来。

CNN, Philippines, made a TV report for eight minutes and a half on PENTASI B GLOBAL EVENT CHINA 2019 and Sophy Chen’s upcoming visit to Philippines.
The program was hosted by the founder of the PENTASI B World Friendship, the Father of Visual Poetry, poet Doc PenPen, and PENTASI B ADMIN, the Philippines famous poet, and journalist Edwin Corderella.
They talked about it from SOPHY CHEN, Host, Organizer & Sponsor of PENTASI B GLOBAL EVENT CHINA 2019, the Pentasi B World Featured Poet and World Golden Voice of Poetry Awardee, Sophy Chen. Around Sophy Chen’s upcoming visit to Philippines, they talked about the winners of the PENTASI B World Poetry Award and the poets will be invited by the poetry event, such as the retired US Senator and Hollywood director James Pasqual Bettio; Nobel Peace Prize nominees Ali Ade Nie Sawyer, Maria Miha Gloria and Mohamed Shanazal; India’s highest civilian award winner (Lotus Medal) Vishnu Pandi Asia; Seventh UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan; and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi (Pentasi B World Poetry Messer Award).

We are honored to announce that China World Poetry Festival 2019 host, principal sponsor and co-organizer Ms. Sophy Chen will be in the Philippines from July 29 to 30, 2018 to herald the upcoming biggest world poetry event to be held in Guangzhou, China.
The said event will be co-organized by Pentasi B World. The last biggest poetry event co-organized by Pentasi B World was held in October, 2017 held in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, India. Indeed, in 2017, Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi personally welcomed more than 100 organizations of poets from all over India and 38 delegates from 23 different countries.
This is the first time China will be hosting a World Poetry Festival enthused and inspired by Pentasi B World’s series of global poetry festivals in British Columbia, Canada in 2012; Los Angeles, California, USA in 2012; Philippines in 2013; Turkey in 2014; Italy in 2016; Ghana, Africa in 2016; Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, India in 2017; and Morocco also in 2017.
Host Country organizer and sponsor Sophy Chen, multi-awarded author and premier translator in China, will be housed in Okada Manila Hotel during her stay in the country where she will be welcomed by Pentasi B World Founder and internationally awarded as Father of Visual Poetry Filipino poet Dr. Epitacio Tongohan (aka Doc Penpen Bugtong Takipsilim) and other local poets.
During her stay in the Philippines, we will be touring her at the National Library of Philippines, in various historic and artistic spots, furthermore, with your kind indulgence, also at the CNN-Philippines Headquarters on Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City on July 30, 2018 where we hope to officially announce the upcoming world poetry festival which, by the way, will honor Filipino poet in English Edwin Cordevilla with a major international award.
The China World Poetry Festival 2019 is the most ambitious poetry event yet as it will be participated by 2,019 poets from around the world and will also be the occasion to launch the compendium anthology of 2,019 highly selected contemporary poets/poems from various countries all over the world.

Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Provinve, China, is the Chinese contemporary poetess, translator, and American English “Legendary Poet”. She is the founder of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, “Sophy Poetry & Translation” International Magazine and “Sophy International Translation Publishing House” and the founder and leading lecturer of “Sophy English Forum”. She graduated from English Institute of Xian Foreign Studies University in English Literature. She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and she began to translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005. She won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012(C-E)and the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award(C-E).
