ABOUT SOPHY CHEN
Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, and American English Legendary Poet. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website, Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine and Sophy International Translation Publishing House, the president of Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Award. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan, and its Chairman’s Chinese Literaturre & Translation Consultant. Sophy Chen is appointed as a Honorary Membership of PABLO NERUDA ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE in 2019.
She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005.
In 2012 she won the annual International Best Translator Award issued by IPTRC. In the same year, she received the Legendary Poet Award from the famous international English poetry website (poetry.com). In 2014 she won the Chinese Contemporary Poetry Translation Award (2013-2014). In 2018 she won Pentasi B World Featured Poet and Pentasi B World Inspirational Poet; the International Icon of Literature of Mewadev Laurel Award in India; In 2019 she won Neruda Award of Italy; the Wrangal’s Golden Peacock Award, Pentasi B Pentasian Award, Pentasi B World Poet Laureate Award and Pentasi B World Golden Voice Poetry 2019.
She translated and published seven collections of Chinese poems into English: The Flower Swaying (2014) by Zhao Xingzhong; Tibetan Incense (2014) by ZiYing; The Outlook of Life (2014) by Yang Ruopeng; Different Tunes (2014) by Greensleeves; The Body Forward (2015) by the painter TanJun, A Poetry Biography for White Snake by Liao Shidie and I Find Your Beauty In The Taste Of Your Eyes by Chen Hui (Taste’s Eyes) (2019)
She published an English poetry collection, Sophy English Sonnets, Tuberose (2018). She translated, edited and published Poetry Selection Of PENTASI B 2019 China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards (2019) and Sophy Poetry & Translation (C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine. The Complete Poems Collection Of PENTASI B 2019 China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards（Volume 1-2）are editting.
Sophy Chen is the Host-Organizer & Sponsor of CHINA WORLD POETREE FESTIVAL 2019, PENTASI B World Fellowship, Ｍａｉｎｌａｎｄ China, 2019. She has successfully organized, sponsored and held PENTASI B 2019 China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards in China.

苏菲（Sophy Chen），本名陈丽华，中国当代诗人、翻译家。美国英语“传奇诗人”。生于陕西汉中略阳；毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。“苏菲诗歌&世界翻译网”、《苏菲诗歌&翻译》(英汉）纸质世界诗刊、“苏菲国际翻译出版社”创办人、“苏菲世界诗歌博物馆”馆长。“苏菲世界诗歌奖” 发起人。PENTASI B 世界诗歌联谊会行政管理、中国翻译协会会员、卡萨克斯坦“世界各族人民作家协会”会员、“世界各族人民作家协会”主席 中国文学顾问，中国文学翻译顾问、意大利“聂鲁达文学协会”名誉会员。
1989年开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。
2012年，苏菲荣获IPTRC颁发的2012年度 “国际最佳翻译家奖”、 同年，荣获著名国际英语诗歌网（poetry.com）传奇诗人奖。2014年荣获中国当代诗歌翻译奖（2013-2014年）。2018年，苏菲荣获Pentasi B 世界杰出诗人奖、Pentasi B 世界精神诗人奖；印度米瓦德威•桂冠奖——2018 “国际文学偶像”奖。2019年，苏菲荣获意大利聂鲁达奖；印度朗格尔金孔雀奖；Pentasi B 2019年度奖；Pentasi B世界桂冠诗人奖；PENTASI B 2019 世界金色之声诗歌奖。

“Sophy Poetry & Translation (C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine” is The International Endorsement Translation of Translator Sophy Chen!
Sophy Chen Poetry Translation Is The International Endorsement Translation Of Poet And Translator Sophy Chen, such as “Sophy Poetry & Translation (C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine”, China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards Column (published in magazines), Complete Poems/Poetry Selection Of China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards, various selections of poems, and the poem translation of various national poetry festival projects represented by Sophy Chen. All poems are translated exclusively by Sophy Chen. Poems translated by other translators are not accepted.
Signing Of The Translation Agreement And Payment:
Signing Of The Translation Agreement: The author himself must sign a contract to authorize the translation and publication of the translation works.
1. Email Confirmation: After submission, please reply to the email to confirm acceptance of translation fees (if you do not reply to the email to confirm the translation fee, the submission will be deemed invalid!). After you have confirmed that you will pay your translation fee, we will review the quality of the poems for you. After the review is passed, the number of poems and lines will be counted, and the translation fee will be calculated.
2. Agreement Signing: We will send the electronic version of the “Translation Agreement” and the translation fee quotation by email. You can choose to sign the electronic agreement or in writing (we will mail the “Translation Agreement” with a seal to you, and you need to sign and return it).
3. The Core Of The Agreement:
A. Once the translation agreement is reached, it will be deemed that Party A authorizes Party B to translate it and publish it in a paper magazine or paper poetry anthology edited by Sophy Chen. The work may not be transferred to other translators without the permission of Party B’s translator.
B. Without the permission of Party B’s translator, Party A cannot translate the Chinese version or English version of the poems translated by Party B’s translator into other languages. If it needs to be translated into other languages, it must be authorized by this journal to indicate which language the translation is from. Who is the original author and translator. The original author, translator and source must be noted for reprinting and publication.
C. If Party A breaks the terms of Party B’s agreement and privately transfers the Chinese version or English version of the poems translated by Party B’s translator to a translator who does not have any literary translation qualifications and experience to translate into other languages, without marking the language of the translation from, Who is the original author or original translator, the magazine will defend rights, pursue accountability, and openly criticize online. If Party A removes the pseudonym of the Chinese version or English version of the poetry translator translated by Party B’s translator privately, and submits it to third-party online media, newspapers, magazines, and poetry anthologies for publication and awards, the magazine will defend rights, pursue accountability, and openly criticize online. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Award, the President of Sophy International Translation Publishing House, Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the Chief Editor of Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine, and Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan, and its Chairman's Chinese Literaturre & Translation Consultant. Sophy Chen is appointed as a Honorary Membership of PABLO NERUDA ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE in 2019 and Jury Of “Il Parnaso - Angelo La Vecchia Award” of Italy.
She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005.

About Dazang
Dazang was born in Jinhua, Zhejiang province of China, in 1970s, who is a Chinese contemporary poet, poetry reviewer and poetry communicator. He is committed to write Chinese poetry, and poetry reviews and spread poetry internationally. He started to write works in 1989, poems in 1993 and poetry critics in 2013. His poems were published in various newspapers, magazines and annual anthologies and some poetry websites, Sina Blog, and his own poetry website, Dazang Poetry website. His poetry reviews were published in “Cultural Monthly” and “Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Literature”, etc. He is awarded many poetry prizes, such as “The Most Valuable Poet of 100 Years in Chinese New Poetry” by Global Chinese Poets Selection of “One Hundred Years of Chinese New Poetry”. He owns 2019 PENTASI B WORLD FEATURED POET AWARD and 2019 WORLD INSPIRATIONAL POET AWARD and 2019“Il Parnaso - Angelo La Vecchia Award”of Italy.

She is the founder of Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website, Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine and Sophy International Translation Publishing House, the president of Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Award. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan, and its Chairman's Chinese Literaturre & Translation Consultant. Sophy Chen is appointed as a Honorary Membership of PABLO NERUDA ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE in 2019.
She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005.
In 2012 she won the annual International Best Translator Award issued by IPTRC. In the same year, she received the Legendary Poet Award from the famous international English poetry website (poetry.com). In 2014 she won the Chinese Contemporary Poetry Translation Award (2013-2014). In 2018 she won Pentasi B World Featured Poet and Pentasi B World Inspirational Poet; the International Icon of Literature of Mewadev Laurel Award in India; In 2019 she won Neruda Award of Italy; the Wrangal’s Golden Peacock Award, Pentasi B Pentasian Award, Pentasi B World Poet Laureate Award and Pentasi B World Golden Voice Poetry 2019.

After being online for 24 hours, searching all of the search engines,

I found not the slightest trace of you.
After being online for 48 hours, like a cat on a hot tin roof,
Again and again, slaving over a steaming pan,
In order to better see you in your true colours, and to let you hear me crying,
I still found not the slightest trace of you.
After being online 72 hours, I, like a moth to a flame,
Again and again, trying to go beyond the illusory screen images
In order to show off my best dancing in front of you
And to let you see my final moment as I crash and burn.

About Dazang
Dazang was born in Jinhua, Zhejiang province of China, in 1970s, who is a Chinese contemporary poet, poetry reviewer and poetry communicator. He is committed to write Chinese poetry, and poetry reviews and spread poetry internationally. He started to write works in 1989, poems in 1993 and poetry critics in 2013. His poems were published in various newspapers, magazines and annual anthologies and some poetry websites, Sina Blog, and his own poetry website, Dazang Poetry website. His poetry reviews were published in “Cultural Monthly” and “Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Literature”, etc. He is awarded many poetry prizes, such as “The Most Valuable Poet of 100 Years in Chinese New Poetry” by Global Chinese Poets Selection of “One Hundred Years of Chinese New Poetry”. Is this a morning full of flowers, or an afternoon not disturbed by some one? As if every moving moment forgotten in the long memory, just gets together and blooms. If this is true, I would my fate rather rough and bumpy than this path.
Through the flowers, I think the roots that have been suppressed in the soil must be filled with blooming ideas. Every blooming flower is an expression of desire, so enjoyable, so thorough! All the wishes of grassroots are bravely standing on the hillside.
What kind of strength is the tender roots against the solidity of the soil? Just as how the root of thought is wedged into the inferiority of human nature.
I seem to be able to hear the stubborn roots’ breathing which are breaking the ground from the flowery underground. In the end, each root conquered the earth with a curved tolerance and lingering persistence. If the roots died and the mind stopped, the soil is just mud.
Therefore, I dare not indulge in this amazing moment, and I am more worried about the origin of this road, a channel carrying a lust or dream. This road was originally the soul of some other flowers, as well as the bones of thoughts that once extended day and night.
Why is the more humbler, the more you know how to be quiet? Quietly flowering, calmly withered, And helplessly stepped on, even the little butterfly flies over silently.
Let’s have a rain and see if there are any undead grass roots on this road.

About Luo Liang
He was born at the end of the 1960s. He graduated from University of Science and Technology of East China, University of Science and Technology of China. He is bachelor of Engineering, MBA, Senior International Business Division, Vice President of Anhui Poetry Society, and a member of Anhui Writers Association. The famous poet and translator of Kazakhstan (1964-2020) Kairat Duissenov Parman died of illness in early July 2020 at the age of 56. Kairat Duissenov Parman is a famous poet, composer, translator, essayist, songwriter, and journalist of Kazakhstan and chairman of World Nations Writers Union. Kairat Duissenov Parman made the unremitting efforts and contributions to Kazakhstan poetry, Russian poetry, Chinese poetry and even world poetry during his lifetime. I loiter day and night
Amid hills and on the grassland,

He was the one, who grew up with the dream of peace in his eyes,
And to give life to that dream, he made the platform of “World Nation Writers’Union”; Gathering all the peace lover; writers & poets.
Although he was less-talkative,
Each pore of his soul & existence spoke.
This virtuous & transparent man will never be forgotten by the righteous people of world literature.
At the moment, the soil of his grave is wet with the pearls of our tears,

Remembering Kairat Duissenov Parman
We had amicably chatted shortly before the sad event and without knowing what his conditions were, in the last few days I had sent him photos that reminded us of our meeting in Turkey. It was by scrolling through its pages that I came across the news of his departure and because of Covid 19.
Although the whole world is caught in the grip of fear and despite the non-encouraging news that speak of a widespread diffusion of the virus, it is never expected that things can get you so close, that a friend, that a loved one can be affected.
But, this happened and took away a sensitive man, a culture lover. It was a pleasure for me to meet him, to collaborate with him on several occasions. Poets and writers from the world are, today, united in the thought of his premature death. Death that places you before the fragility of the human condition and leaves you upset as well as pained, makes you feel helpless, small in the universe, in a world where you thought you could dominate everything. But, then comes a tiny and invisible enemy to bring you back to reality-
The departure of our dear friend Kairat will help lead to profound reflections on life, death, the human condition, on possible new ways to be taken
He will thus continue to be present in our hearts, in our minds.
Goodbye kairat and may God have you in glory！

Sophy Chen, or Lihua Chen, is a contemporary poet and translator. She was born in 1975 in Lueyang County, Hanzhong city of Shaanxi province, China. She graduated from the Institute of Xi'an Foreign Studies University in English literature.
Sophy Chen was a researcher of the International Poetry Translation and Research Center and guest associate editor of The World Poets Quarterly; she is the president of Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum and founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Award; She is the founder of Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website and Sophy International Translation Publishing House; she is the chief editor of Sophy Poetry & Translation E-C World Poetry Magazine. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry and a member of the Translators Association of China.
When she was very young, she started writing poems in Chinese in 1989, while in 2004 she dedicated herself to poems in English and subsequently began to translate them (from English to Chinese or Chinese to English) in newspapers and magazines. She translated part of the poems from Chinese-English textbook 300 New Chinese Poems (1917-2012) and from the 2013/2014 World Poetry Yearbook.

The multiple differences among us are mathematical truths that are either conspicuously existing on us or impeccably concealed inside us. We live in diverse colors, shapes, sizes, quantities, and values. But, each of us definitely possesses in oneself an incomparable chiseled individuality which can distinctly resonate in a crowd or simply melt away behind the spotlight. It is our own positivism or negativism which may raise us up to victory or put us down to fiasco. But, varied as we are, an honest advocacy one does for this living world, separates him from the fellows who merely live and breathe. Indeed, it matters how a person sees, performs, shares, and sustains that individual quality he has, not only in the circle he belongs, but in the vastness of the sphere he inspires. The polynomials of diverse things he owns do not make him a significant being, neither the question if he is just an exponent, nor a prime factor a plus point, but rather, it is the fraction of concepts, images, or even solutions he creates and shares to his fellows which truly makes him different, perfectly different from a common crowd.
Just recently, what happened in China marked another proof that despite the diversity of humans in terms of so many angles, still, it is the sum total of their contributions to the nation, as well as to the world, in general, which can make them stand out among the rest. Yes! This time it is in the Land of the Red Dragon, China, where one of the most remarkable achievements of a Filipino artist has been acknowledged with full honors and felicitations. Our very own, Doc PenPen Bugtong Takipsilim (real name, Epitacio R. Tongohan, MD), the renowned founder of the international poetry group, the Pentasi B World Friendship Poetry, has been honored as the Father of Visual Poetry. It is undeniably inspiring that a Filipino-doctor-turned-visual-poet has earned for our nation another global recognition, which generously places the Philippines as one of the most reputable countries in the literary sphere. Now, let us take a closer view of what occurred during the 22nd-25th of November 2019, and find out how that festive event paved another literary global award for a Filipino artist. The Pentasi B poets, headed by Doc PenPen, took their plane seats and joined the Chinese Poetry Festival, which he co-organized with Ms. Sophy Chen, a multi-awarded Chinese poet, writer, translator and founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards and Sophy Chen Paper Poetry Magazine, SOPHY POETRY and TRANSLATION C-E WORLD PAPER MAGAZINE. It was a four-day festivity of words, rhymes, and friendships graced fabulously by the presence of respected Chinese and international poets. The event was an assembly of zealous delegates who radiated in them the most essential influence poetry can ever have.
On the first day, Ms. Sophy Chen, the main host, surprised the Pentasi B and other international guests by her warm, convivial welcome on their arrival at the Xi'an Xianyang International Airport in China.
Afterwards, the group was transferred to Xi’an-Xi’an Hotel where they were luxuriously accommodated. Then, the 2nd day commenced the program, which is probably one of the most radiant poetry festivals any delegates would ever dream to participate in. The Program highlighted the main events as follows: Poetry Reading, Poetry Discussion, Book Exhibition, Book Launch, and Gift Donation, the latter has been a part of every Pentasi B’s poetry celebration. Basically, the aim is not just to emphasize the generosity of the donor, but most importantly, to showcase the particular products and the creative artistry of either the donor or the country he or she represented. Among the most anticipated and superb part of the event was the Pentasi B’s and Sophy Chen’s awarding of plaques of recognition to the International and the Chinese Poets.

The Pentasi B, with Ms. Sophy Chen, became a cornucopia of award-giving. The collaboration between Doc PenPen and Ms. Chen symbolized the laurels and prestige in poetry writing. This literary duo significantly considered the poets who are, otherwise, concerned about the present global issues that confront human beings. Hence, their poems should not only display an artistic beauty, but their themes should also be relevant to changing the world for the better with such perennial impact. Pondering around these majestic concepts would mean poetry in the modern world is not just flaunting the thoughts in pompous words, nor in its schematic beauty, but poetry is also a means to propel an act that can irresistibly change a nation. It should be like a ripple, small it may be, but can create a wider effect around it.
As Doc PenPen echoes it, the Pentasi B World Poetry Festival in China must bear a noble purpose, that is: “Building Bridges of Friendship for Global Harmony and Understanding Among People of All Nations”; and, as Ms. Chen reiterates it:“Poetry Connects the World. Poetry Makes Us Friends”.
There were sixteen (16) poets/awardees recognized during the second day of the event. They came from different races and cultures, and definitely, were selected through their indisputable bodies of work and their indubitable achievements.
The three (3) recipients of special citations were:

Aside from this award-giving activity, another component part of this red-letter day was Doc PenPen’s donation of Pentasi B’s big book (W. 12” x H. 18.5”) to the National Library of China. The book, which features his most noteworthy visual poems, owned its precious and safe stature in the country’s state library and is open for the readers’ art and literary appreciation. A colossal worth, conceived. A historic contribution, achieved.

If we take serious notice on the real implication behind the success of this 2019 PENTASI B CHINA WORLD POETRY FESTIVAL, our profound realization would tell us that its triumph correlates to an investment of a lifetime. An investment of friendship, respect, and kindness which, in the near future, would be of most effective use to the people in their respective nations working entirely to attain harmony and understanding. This investment may seem to be at an average pace today and still need sustenance, but by all odds, in God’s chosen time, that which that has been sincerely invested shall absolutely have its natural fruition. The Pentasi B’s active and unfeigned participation to the said poetry occasion showed the world a wondrous fulfillment of a noble mission. The Pentasi B commits itself in connecting people from varied races, regardless of their skin tones and ideologies. In China, Doc PenPen, with his ceaseless artistic passion, perseverance, and determination, found Ms. Chen’s gentle, loving yet powerful hands to help him express human thoughts and emotions for a common purpose: to build bridges of friendship for Global Harmony and Understanding among people of all nations.
Today, on its 11th year, Pentasi B has continuously shown “what is out there” and “what more to be achieved” in order to sustain the attainment of world friendship and global peace. Doc PenPen, as its founder, becomes an epitome of words in action, word of honor, and words of inspiration. It is not the verses, nor the visual arts alone, that make him indeed impressive, but it is how he works with such intense zeal, positive affirmation, and brilliant effort. He is unquestionably worth-emulating. If this new generation lacks the sense to reach out to others and cannot discern the value of the prodigious quantity and the assiduous quality of its existence, that it just simply exists and later fades away without even leaving behind a spark of its cosmos, then, it should look upon the worth of poets in this life, particularly upon the optimistic impact they create -- to heal, to inspire, to awaken!

The PENTASI B Historical Forum in 2013, spearheaded by The National Library of Philippines,
held at the National Museum of The Philippines, composed of international panel of Doctors in Arts and in Literature, Poets Laureates, Published Authors, Professors, visual artists, and students had steered to unearth the mysteries behind his magnum opus, convened, adjudged and re-affirmed Doc Penpen as The Father of Visual Poetry.

Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Provinve, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, and American English Legendary Poet. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website, Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine and Sophy International Translation Publishing House, the president of Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Award. She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005. She won the annual “International Best Translator”Award 2012(C-E), the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award (C-E), PENTASI B WORLD FEATURED POET 2018(E-E) and PENTASI B WORLD INSPIRATIONAL POET 2018(E-E), International Icon of Literature of MEWADEV LAUREL AWARD – 2018, India (E-E), NERUDA AWARD OF ITALIA (E-E), WRANGAL’s GOLDEN PEACOCK AWARD (E-E), PENTASI B PENTASIAN AWARD (E-E), and PENTASI B WORLD POET LAUREATE AWARD (E-E).
