About Sophy Chen
Sophy Chen, Lihua Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, publisher and world poetry manager. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards, the President of Sophy International Translation Publishing House, Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the Chief Editor and Translator of Sophy Chen's Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2021 (C-E Bilingual), Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine, and Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, and a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan. Sophy Chen is appointed as a Honorary Membership of PABLO NERUDA ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE and Jury Of “Il Parnaso - Angelo La Vecchia Award” of Italy. Sorochkin Vladimir, poet and translator, member of the Writers’ Union of Russia, Editor-in-chief of the literary Bryansk almanac. He was born on January 21, 1961 in Bryansk (Russia). Cold. Morning. I as a child.
My house wakes up and seems like a temple
where dreams and shadows walk embraced
and hide in the corners.
Our frosty windows seem a snow-white Garden of Eden:
they shine like fluffy frost.
The stove smells chalk and spring.
My mother pours tea into mugs.
My father`s silent, although with me
he often jokes as if by chance.
I'm still five years old, but smart beyond my years ...
Now I`d give everything, oh God, to be a child again,
where, as before, we`re next to each other.
Innocent in the eternal secret,
my parents are disembodied like smoke,
where life and death are one
as well as the future and the past.
They blind my eyes like does the sun,
because they`re here, behind the glass…
I try to warm up with my breath this frosty window:
I`d like to see them through the Garden of Eden.

They used to pick dreams
