About the Author
[China]Yi Sha

Yi Sha, real name Wu Wenjian, born in Chengdu, Sichuan, in 1966, is a poet, writer, critic, translator, and compiler. He has graduated from the department of Chinese language and literature of Beijing Normal University in 1989. Now he teaches in the Chinese Institute of Xi’an International Studies University. He has published more than 100 written, translated and edited books and won the Henry Ruth Foundation Awards for Chinese Poetry Creation and English Translation, the Asian Poet Awards of South Korea, and dozens of poetry awards of China. His works have been highly valued by many countries around the world. The Vermont Creation Center in the United States has employed him as a resident writer, the University of Arizona in the United States has held poems reading for him, and one journal and two universities in Austria has also held poems reading and seminars for him.

2023 Seneca Poetry Prize of Italy, was successfully awarded at the Hall of the Stables, Norman-Swabian Castle Sannicandro di Bari, Italy, 2023-10-14. More than 600 poets, artists, scholars and celebrities from Italy, China, Greece, France, Turkey, Serbia and other countries attended the award ceremony! Chinese poet and translator Sophy Chen has been honored as Ambassador of Seneca Poetry Prize of Italy to China. Sophy Chen is honored to receive the award with many famous poets in the world! Chinese poet and translator Sophy Chen was warmly received by the organizer of the Seneca Poetry Prize in Italy and warmly welcomed by the Italian people! Chinese Poet and Translator Sophy Chen Received A Very Great Encouragement From the Italian Visa Officer!

从苏菲被意大利塞内卡诗歌奖提名为塞内卡诗歌奖驻华大使以来，经过三年的疫情阻隔，2023-10-09日苏菲终于排除所有困难临行前一两天被意大利广州领事馆预约面试。正如苏菲当时拿到签证时在微信朋友圈的感慨：

“期盼多年的意大利之旅终于可以实现了呀！签证好难办！一言难尽！不过在广州意大利领事馆面试的时候，意大利大使官给我很大的积极鼓舞！

我怎么也没有想到一个意大利人对一个中国诗人，一个翻译家！如此有兴趣！我提交签证申请的时候，压根没有提到诗歌，诗歌翻译这类，更没有提到我的笔名苏菲，没想到这位面试官，连我有英语诗歌翻译网都知道！按照中国签证申请机构的建议，千万不能提你是学外语的，特别是文学翻译！以免被认为有移民倾向被拒签！面对兴致勃勃的老外，我一股脑儿，他问啥我答啥！我们谈的很开心！回到家一整晚没睡着，心里细想，肯定没戏了！没想到早晨（2023-10-09）10点面试的，老外下午6点就安排邮寄了签证，第2天一大早就拿到签证了！拿到签证的一瞬间，我突然想起，忘记问那位老外面试官叫啥了！真是万般的遗憾！但愿诗歌能让我们再次相遇！

办法都想尽了，中国青年旅行社都抢不到号！钱活生生给我一文不少退回来了！我网上四处打听才找到广州一家专门代办签证的公司给抢到了2个号，一个是10-26、一个是10-27，还在深圳。按照惯例，护照要返回深圳签证中心，再邮寄出来的！没想到我和大藏的被直接从广州邮寄出来了！一定是那位老外特意帮了我们！要不然死活来不及了！塞内卡14号颁奖典礼，最迟12号必须从中国出发！我现在想，如果没有诗歌估计我这辈子也去不了意大利！”

Since Sophy Chen has been nominated as the Seneca Poetry Ambassador to China by the Seneca Poetry Prize of Italy , after three years of the epidemic barrier, on 2023-10-09, Sophy Chen finally has eliminated all difficulties and has been scheduled for an interview by the Italian Consulate in Guangzhou a day or two before she left China to Italy. As Sophy Chen said in her WeChat when she got her visa:
“The trip to Italy that I've been looking forward to for many years can be finally realized! It’s hard to get a visa! It’s a long story! However, when I was interviewed at the Italian Consulate in Guangzhou, Italian Visa Officer gave me a very great encouragement!

I never thought of an Italian person is such an interested in a Chinese poet, a translator! When I submitted my visa application, I did not mention anything about poetry, poetry translation or anything like that, let alone my pen name Sophy Chen. Unexpectedly, the interviewer even knew that I had an English poetry translation website! According to the Chinese visa application agency, you should never mention that you’ve been learning a foreign language, especially literary translation! In order to avoid being considered as having an immigrant tendency to be refused your visa! To face of the enthusiastic foreigner, I rushed to talk, what he asked in anything! We had a very good talking! When I went home, I stayed up all night, thinking to myself, it must be over! But i did not expect the interview at 10 o’clock in the morning (2023-10-09), the foreigner arranged to mail the visa at 6 o’clock in the afternoon, and i got the visa early in the morning on the second day! At the moment when I got the visa in hands, I suddenly remembered that I had forgotten to ask the foreigner’s name! What a pity to me! May poetry bring us together again!
All methods are tried by me, and even China Youth Travel Agency can not grab the number to hand over the visa application! My money was sent back in the flesh! I asked around on the Internet and found a company specializing in visa in Guangzhou to grab two numbers, one is 10-26, one is 10-27, and it is still in Shenzhen. According to the practice, the passport should be returned to Shenzhen Visa Center, and then mailed out! I didn’t expect that the visa of Dachang Chen and me were mailed out directly from Guangzhou! The foreigner must have gone out of his way to help us! Or else it’s too late! Seneca 14th Awards Ceremony, we must leave China on the 12th at the latest! Now I think I would never have gone to Italy without poetry!”

还有，这次令人意想不到特别开心的是，苏菲每次都被安排坐窗子边上。这个太重要了，俯瞰沿途的风景，特别是可以俯瞰一望无际的地中海、俯瞰神秘的罗马上空，那简直是太震撼了！飞机返回的时候是从卡塔尼亚—罗马—成都的飞机，在罗马机场重新托运行李换登机牌的时候，我特地用英语感谢了，那位意大利工作人员，我说：“这次来你们意大利简直感觉太好了，连飞机都回回让我坐窗户，太感谢你们了！”，你猜那位工作人员咋说的？“非常感谢你有一个愉快的旅行！这次你还是窗户！”

And, unexpectedly and happily, Sophy Chen was always seated by the window this time. This is so important, overlooking the scenery along the way, especially you can overlook the endless Mediterranean Sea, and overlook the mysterious Rome above, and it is too shocking! When the airplane returned, it was from Catania to Rome to Chengdu. When my luggage was checked and boarding card was changed at Rome Airport, I specially thanked the Italian staff in English. I said “I am so happy to come to Italy this time, even the airplanes let me sit in the window every time. What do you think the clerk said? “Thank you very much for a nice trip! You're the window this time too!”

苏菲（Sophy Chen），本名陈丽华，中国当代诗人、翻译家、出版人、世界诗歌活动策划人。生于陕西汉中略阳；毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。“苏菲国际翻译出版社”社长、“苏菲世界诗歌奖”创始人、“苏菲世界诗歌博物馆”馆长、《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴》(汉英对照)主编、《苏菲诗歌&翻译》(英汉）纸质世界诗刊主编、“苏菲诗歌&世界翻译网”主编。PENTASI B 世界诗歌联谊会行政管理、中国翻译协会会员、卡萨克斯坦“世界各民族作家联盟”会员、意大利“聂鲁达文学协会”名誉会员、意大利“帕那苏斯诗歌奖”评审委员会成员、意大利“卢修斯·阿纳乌斯·塞内卡”艺术与哲学学院驻华大使。1989年开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。

第一次读到大藏的诗是2011年的三月。机缘巧合，我有幸读到了大藏的诗。虽说那个时候读大藏的诗着实感觉比较抽象，要费不少脑细胞，我却像发现了一块新大陆，读了一次又一次。其中有一首诗深深的感动了我。那个时候我才发现，在这样一个纯粹的物质世界里，我们从小到大看到的，听到的，几乎和诗歌无关，诗歌似乎只是古人的事情，在我所处的现实世界似乎绝迹了，至少我身边没有诗，更没有诗人。大藏的诗惊醒了我。诗人并没有绝迹。他们就隐匿在我们当中......

大藏的这首诗深深的感动了我，也拉进了我们的距离，让我们相识相知！接下来的一切，都是因为这首诗的缘故。都来自这首诗的缘起。

我从未曾想占有你。精美的器物
它只适合倾注，使灵魂倾心
而亵于把玩；在你面前
我只想成为你伸手可及的物什

或者一颗嗜睡的细胞，隐匿在
你的荣光中，让我代你谛听
忘却倾覆之疼；如果这些都还不够
让我呼号奔走，在你孱弱的边界……

弃绝我，就像弃绝一个中世纪的神话
刻骨铭心却难置于惯常的缄默
当岁月逝远，轻描淡写渐渐定格

一生的空白中没有一个身影
会离你更近——我优游的灵魂
不经意驻留在你尚待填补的风花雪月里

“我从未曾想占有你。精美的器物
它只适合倾注，使灵魂倾心
而亵于把玩;”

真正的爱情是两情相悦，互相钦慕。爱一个人就如同珍视一件稀世珍宝，你倾注了所有的情感，去爱去呵护，而并非为了把玩和占有。因为爱是双方面的，单方面的把玩和占有都只会给对方带来痛苦。因此诗人说：如果我爱你，绝不试图占有你，因为我爱你，我会把我的全部身心倾注于你，让我的灵魂对你倾心，从灵魂里爱你。当年我读到这里，除了感动，便是无语了。心中默默的想着，太高深了，这世道，还有人追求这样的爱情？接着诗人大藏进一步说：

“在你面前
我只想成为你伸手可及的物什”

我爱你，在你面前，我什么都不想渴求，我只想做你伸手可及的东西，陪伴在你身边。为爱的牺牲和付出，让人动容。心里默念如果可以遇到这样的爱情，那该多好呀！

“或者一颗嗜睡的细胞，隐匿在
你的荣光中，让我代你谛听
忘却倾覆之疼；如果这些都还不够
让我呼号奔走，在你孱弱的边界……”

我爱你，只为了陪伴在你的身边——那哪里够？让我做“一颗嗜睡的细胞，隐匿在你的荣光中”，让我默默的注视着你的成功，为你默默喝彩；“让我代你谛听”，代你去感受这个世界的光怪陆离，体验人情的冷暖沧桑；让我为你承受一切该承受的，包括人生低谷的倾覆之痛，让我为你承受成功路上的一切痛苦，让你忘却那不愉快的一切。“如果这些都还不够，让我呼号奔走，在你孱弱的边界”，在你最脆弱最需要力量的时候，请让我为你遮风挡雨；在你最危难的时刻，让我为你披荆斩棘，扫平一切障碍……

“弃绝我，就像弃绝一个中世纪的神话
刻骨铭心却难置于惯常的缄默
当岁月逝远，轻描淡写渐渐定格”

爱你，我已然倾尽所有。如果你不再爱我，你弃绝这生命之恋，就是弃绝一段中世纪的旷世爱情。诗人大藏原诗“弃绝我，就像弃绝一个中世纪的神话”。好孤傲不羁的爱情宣言。诗人向往中世纪惊心动魄、浪漫、只此唯一的爱情，有着中世纪人的那种专一、至情、至爱的古典情怀。诗人也坚信自己就是那矢志不渝爱情的主人公。如果你弃绝我，就是弃绝了一段中世纪的爱情神话。

“刻骨铭心却难置于惯常的缄默”

爱你，如此刻骨铭心，你离开，我痛彻心扉难以释怀，然而我通常会沉默不语，不让我的悲伤表现在你的面前——我们就这样以表面的“惯常的缄默”相互对峙着，也让岁月来慢慢拉开你我之间的距离。但同时我又时常难以抑制自己，我要把对你的爱表达出来，而不是孤守这无情的虚空岁月——做到这一步又何尝容易，有多少人将自己的爱深埋心底，一辈子也不敢表达？！

“当岁月逝远，轻描淡写渐渐定格”

当岁月渐渐地远去，时间冲淡了世间万般的不舍与深情，你或许可以将我们之间的故事轻描淡写，一带而过；又或者，在你我心中定格成一幅永恒的温馨的画面……往日炽烈而销魂的爱情，如雾霭如潮水般慢慢消褪......

“一生的空白中没有一个身影
会离你更近——我优游的灵魂
不经意驻留在你尚待填补的风花雪月里”

或许你的一生被填的满满的，或许留有空白，在你人生的空白中，或许留有很多人的影子，但是他们都离你远远地，只有我的身影离你最近，在你的记忆里清晰可见。诗人是多么自信笃定，自己一定会成为所爱之人心中唯一驻留永久的身影。正如诗人大藏说：“一生的空白中没有一个身影会离你更近”。我的灵魂一直在游荡，散漫的游荡。诗人最后说：“我优游的灵魂不经意驻留在你尚待填补的风花雪月里”。我的灵魂一直在散漫的游荡，也许他会在不经意间停留在你美好的时光里，美好的爱情里。诗人渴望，即便此生不能彼此相爱，自己的灵魂也许会在不经意间驻留在你渴望真爱的生命里，陪你共度美好时光。无论那个时候你是否心有所属。我也渴望自己的灵魂留在你尚待填补的浪漫爱情里，成为你一生中距离最近的幻影。

以上是大藏的汉语十四行诗《我从未曾想占有你》，选自《七弦琴的哀歌》之六，创作于2009.12.15 杭州。成为苏菲英译大藏诗集《七弦琴的哀歌》中的扛鼎之作。

此诗从2014年11月18日首次翻译以来，分别在2015年9月19日、 2021年1月27日、2023年5月30日在广州经过三次矫正。这首诗经过近十年的翻译跨度，从当初对这首诗的汉语原文朦胧的理解有了更加彻底透彻的理解。对大藏原诗的理解上也有了新的理解和解读。英语翻译文本也有了进一步的精炼和优化。

因为这首诗的缘故。因为读到这首诗，令人念念不忘的缘故。我开始阅读大量的新诗。也陆续找回了自己汉语新诗写作的激情。也许是学习外语喜欢挑战陌生感的缘故，也许是大藏汉语诗歌的深深吸引，我更加觉得新诗翻译，特别是汉译英，具有巨大的挑战性和生命意义。在反复阅读大藏诗歌的过程中，便萌生了动手翻译的强烈冲动。给学生上完英语课之后，课余的闲暇时间便着手翻译新诗。特别是大藏的诗。自2011年开始，陆续翻译了一些，即便并没有发表出来。截止目前，即将翻译完成大藏的整部汉语十四行诗集《七弦琴的哀歌》。这本诗集能够翻译完成，一切的一切都是这首诗的缘故。

在大藏《七弦琴的哀歌》翻译出版启动之际，在我的翻译前言里，有太多要写的东西，这部诗集里面有太多让人动容的诗。但广州的初夏，烈日当空，没有一丝风，居住在广州简直犹如天天住在蒸笼里，我又是个惧怕空调的人，简直整日汗流浃背了。这么热的天，有些冰块来降暑，就再好不过了。可冰淇淋雪糕不能多吃，试试冰镇荔枝，或者别的，对了可以拿大藏的诗来降暑！于是接着翻译大藏的汉语十四行集《七弦琴的哀歌》。这本诗集里的部分作品从2011年开始陆续翻译到目前为止，是我翻译时间跨度最大的诗集了。大藏的汉语十四行诗，一个最大的意象，便是雪、雪霓、天堂.....读起来令人哀婉而忧伤，但那种忧伤是美好的，犹如初恋的美好和忧伤。在这个炎热的夏季读大藏的诗，翻译大藏的诗，让人重温初恋的美好和忧伤，那纷飞的雪花，梦幻的雪霓......用来降暑恰恰好！

Sophy Chen, Lihua Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, publisher and world poetry manager. For the first time I read the poems of Dazang Chen on March 2011. By a chance I was fortunate to read the poems of him. At that time it was really abstract to me to read the poems of him and it would take a lot of my brain cells, but I seemed to find a new continent and read it again and again. I was moved by one of the his poems. In such a pure material world from childhood I discovered what we saw and what we hear had almost had nothing to do with poetry at that time and poetry seemed to be the thing of ancient people and it seemed to be extinct in the real world in which I lived, at least there were no poems around me, let alone poets. The poems of Dazang Chen awakened me. The poet is not extinct. They are hidden in us ...

The poems of Dazang Chen deeply moved me, and also pulled into our distance, let us know and understand each other! Everything that follows is because of this poem. It all comes from the origin of this poem.

It is only suitable for pouring into the enamored soul
But not for being profaned; in front of you
I just want to be your reachable things

Or a sleepy cell hides
In your glory, let me hear for you
And make you forget your overturning pain; if those are not enough
Let me ran to call for you on your weak boundary …

To reject me just as to reject a medieval myth
It’s unforgettable but hard to keep in a habitual silence
As years passing away, the understatement has gradually frozen

In the blank of life, none of a figure
Would be so close to you — my wandering soul
Inadvertently resides in your romantic times that yet needs to be filled

I’ve never wanted to possess you. The exquisite artifact
It is only suitable for pouring into the enamored soul
But not for being profaned;

Real love is the love that two people love each other and admire each other. To love someone is like cherishing a rare treasure. You pour all your emotions and love to take care of it, but not only to play and possess it because love is the thing of two people, the unilateral play and possession will bring pain to each other. Therefore, the poet said: If I love you, I will never try to possess you, because I love you, I will pour all my body and soul on you, let my soul feel your soul and love you in my soul. When I read these words in the poem here in that year, besides being moved, I was speechless. I was thinking in my mind it was too deep. In such a world, some people were still pursuing such a love? Then the poet Dazang Chen said further:

in front of you
I just want to be your reachable things

I love you, in front of you, I don’t want to be eager for anything and I just want to do a thing which you can reach for you and accompanies you. The sacrifice and dedication for love moves people. In my mind I murmured that if I could encounter such a love, how nice should it be!

I love you, just to accompany you — where is it enough? If you no longer love me, you reject the love of this life it is that you just abstain from a medieval love.The original poem of poet Dazang Chen “To reject me just as to reject a medieval myth”. Maybe your life is filled full, maybe there is a blank space. In the blankness of your life, there may be a lot of people’s shadows, but they are far away from you. Only my figure is closest to you and it is clearly visible in your memory. How confident the poet is, he will definitely become the only permanent figure in the heart of the one he loves. It is just as the poet Dazang Chen said: “In the blank of life, none of a figure would be so close to you ”. My soul has been wandering and desultory wandering. The poet finally said: “ my wandering soul inadvertently resides in your romantic times that yet needs to be filled”. Since the first translation of this poem on November 18, 2014, it has been revised third time by Sophy Chen, on September 19, 2015, January 27, 2021, and May 30, 2023. After nearly ten years of translation span, from the hazy understanding of the original Chinese text of this poem I have a thorough understanding of it and also have a new understanding and interpretation of it and English translation text has also been further refined and optimized.

Because of this poem. Because I read this poem, I could not forgot it. I started reading a lot of Chinese Modern Poems. I have also recovered the passion of writing Chinese Modern Poems. Maybe because of learning foreign languages like challenging strangeness, maybe it is the profound attraction of poems of Dazang Chen, I still more felt the translation of Chinese Modern Poetry, especially the Chinese to English has the huge challenges and life significance. In the process of repeated reading of poems of Dazang Chen, I’ve had a strong impulse to translate them. After giving English classes to my students, in my free time, I started to translate Chinese Modern Poems, especially poems of Dazang Chen. Since 2011, some of his poems have been translated, even if they have not been published till now. Up to the present, I will finish all poems translation of the Chinese 14 Lines Poems collection The Elegy of the Lyre by Dazang Chen. This poetry collection can be translated, and everything is due to this poem.

On the occasion of the translation and publication of The Elegy of the Lyre by Dazang Chen, there are too many things to write in my translation foreword and there are too many moving poems in this poetry collection. But in the early summer of Guangzhou, there is no wind in the scorching sun and there is no wind so living in Guangzhou is like living in a steamer every day. I am also a person who is afraid of air conditioning and then sweating all day. In such a hot day, if there are some ice cubes to lower the heat, it will be very better, but I can not eat too much ice cream. Just try some iced lychee, or something else, ok, we can cool down the heat by poems of Dazang Chen ! It is the poetry collection translated by me in the most time span. The biggest image of Dazang Chen’s Chinese 14 Lines Poems is snow, snow rainbow, paradise.....it is painful and sad to read but the sadness is beautiful, just like the beauty and sadness of first love. 苏菲（Sophy Chen），本名陈丽华，中国当代诗人、翻译家、出版人、世界诗歌活动策划人。生于陕西汉中略阳；毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。“苏菲国际翻译出版社”社长、“苏菲世界诗歌奖”创始人、“苏菲世界诗歌博物馆”馆长、《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴》(汉英对照)主编、《苏菲诗歌&翻译》(英汉）纸质世界诗刊主编、“苏菲诗歌&世界翻译网”主编。PENTASI B 世界诗歌联谊会行政管理、中国翻译协会会员、卡萨克斯坦“世界各民族作家联盟”会员、意大利“聂鲁达文学协会”名誉会员、意大利“帕那苏斯诗歌奖”评审委员会成员、意大利“卢修斯·阿纳乌斯·塞内卡”艺术与哲学学院驻华大使。1989年开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。

About Sophy Chen

Sophy Chen, Lihua Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, publisher and world poetry manager. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards, the President of Sophy International Translation Publishing House, Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the Chief Editor and Translator of Sophy Chen's Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2021 (C-E Bilingual), Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine, and Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, and a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan. Sophy Chen is appointed as a Honorary Membership of PABLO NERUDA ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE and Jury Of “Il Parnaso - Angelo La Vecchia Award” of Italy. SOPHY CHEN is appointed as AMBASSADOR TO CHINA by THE ACADEMIC SENATE, ACADEMY OF ARTS AND PHILOSOPHICAL SUAENCES of LUCIUS ANNAEUS SENECA. She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005.

苏菲简介

苏菲（Sophy Chen），本名陈丽华，中国当代诗人、翻译家、出版人、世界诗歌活动策划人。生于陕西汉中略阳；毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。“苏菲国际翻译出版社”社长、“苏菲世界诗歌奖”创始人、“苏菲世界诗歌博物馆”馆长、《苏菲译-世界诗歌年鉴2021卷》(汉英对照)主编、《苏菲诗歌&翻译》(英汉）纸质世界诗刊主编、“苏菲诗歌&世界翻译网”主编。PENTASI B 世界诗歌联谊会行政管理、中国翻译协会会员、卡萨克斯坦“世界各民族作家联盟”会员、意大利“聂鲁达文学协会”名誉会员、意大利“帕那苏斯诗歌奖”评审委员会成员、意大利“卢修斯·阿纳乌斯·塞内卡”艺术与哲学学院驻华大使。1989年开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。

1、未被翻译成英语的汉语新诗代表作10首以上/300行以上。诗人简介150字以内。注明发表省份，真名，笔名，发表名。地址需明确到：“收件人-手机号-省-市-县-区-街道-门牌号”。超高清诗人形象照1张(4000像素以上)，胸围以上（不要全身照，不要戴帽子/黑墨镜）。诗稿直接发到苏菲微信对话框。

Pentasi B 2019 中国世界诗歌节&苏菲世界诗歌奖，世界诗人图书展/艺术品捐赠仪式，作为此次诗歌节的一部分，共现场展出350多位来自中国和全球诗人的诗歌选集和期刊350多部以及部分书画作品。除了苏菲世界诗歌博物馆珍藏以外，诗人的部分诗选同时捐赠给了中国国家图书馆和西安外国语大学图书馆。此次世界图书展给诗人作品提供了良好的世界展示平台，为世界诗人找到了诗歌诗意的栖息地。

Exhibition & Donation Ceremony of World Poets' Books & Art Works as part of the 2019 Pentasi B China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards, it exhibited more than 350 poetry anthologies, periodicals, works and some paintings and calligraphy works by Chinese and foreign poets, from more than 350 Chinese and global poets. In addition to be collected by Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, books of some poets were donated to National Library of China and Library of Xi’an International Studies University. The world books exhibition provides a good platform for poets to display their works in the world and also find a poetic habitat for poets of the world.

时值2023 Pentasi B中国世界诗歌节&苏菲世界诗歌奖来临之际，为了能确确实实为全世界诗人、作家做一点力所能及的实事，给大家奉上一个中外图书盛宴。进一步凸显本次诗歌节的世界性规格与国际性诗歌节水准，特在此期间举办世界诗人图书展/艺术品捐赠仪式。世界诗人图书展/艺术品捐赠仪式作为此次诗歌节的一部分，我们将继续现场展出来自全世界诗人的优秀作品集、艺术作品，请诗人们继续邮寄捐赠图书，除了苏菲世界诗歌博物馆珍藏以外，我们会尽可能将你的作品集送往中国国家图书馆和有合作意向的中国高校图书馆收藏以及海外著名诗人和图书馆收藏。

At the time when the 2023 Pentasi B China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards are approaching, in order to be able to do a little practical work for poets and writers all over of the world, we will give everyone a feast of Chinese and foreign books. And to further highlight the world specifications and international poetry festival standards of this poetry festival, an art exhibition/donation ceremony of works by Chinese and foreign poets will be held during the events. Books/Art Works Exhibition/Donation Of Chinese & Foreign Poets as part of the 2021 Pentasi B China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards, it will continue to exhibit and donate the excellent poetry works and art works of poets from all over of the world onsite. Please continue to mail and donate books and art works . In addition to be collected by Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, we will try our best to send your works to the National Library of China and Chinese university libraries with the intention of cooperation as well as overseas famous poets and libraries.

现特向国际诗人、国际翻译家、国际诗歌评论家、国际翻译评论家、国际小说家、国际散文家、国际汉学家、国际艺术家等征集原创诗歌集、个人作品文集、学术论文集、诗歌评论集、翻译评论集、艺术作品等图书。具体事宜说明如下：

Now we invite you, international poets, international translators, international poetry critics, international translation critics, international novelists, international essayists, international sinologists, and international artists etc. to submit your original poetry collections, individual works collections, academic collections, poetry commentary collections, translations review books and art works. The specific matters are as follows:

1）图书类别：文学艺术类（不接受非文学艺术类图书）
2）非英语语种的外籍图书，请作者请将图书名、作者姓名和国籍自行翻译成英语提交，我们不提供非汉语或非英语语种的图书信息公益赞助翻译）。

1) Book Category: literature and art (not accepting non-literary art books)
2）Non-English language books OR Chinese books are submitted by the author, please translate them into English, we do not provide the sponsorship translation of non-Chinese or non-English language books’ information).

苏菲诗歌翻译，是诗人、翻译家苏菲为诗人国际代言翻译。属于收费翻译，不赞同收费翻译的诗人一律不翻译。《苏菲诗歌&翻译》(英汉) 纸质世界诗刊、PENTASI B 中国世界诗歌节&苏菲世界诗歌奖专栏（杂志刊载）、PENTASI B 中国世界诗歌节&苏菲世界诗歌奖诗选、诗歌选集、以及苏菲代理的其它国家合作诗歌节项目诗歌翻译，统统属于翻译家苏菲代言诗人翻译和国际评奖。所有诗歌都是我本人苏菲独家代言翻译。不接受外来翻译稿件。

About Sophy Chen
Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, publisher and poetry manager.
She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Award, the President of Sophy International Translation Publishing House, Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the Chief Editor of Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine, and Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan, and its Chairman's Chinese Literaturre & Translation Consultant. Sophy Chen is appointed as a Honorary Membership of PABLO NERUDA ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE in 2019 and Jury Of “Il Parnaso - Angelo La Vecchia Award” of Italy.
She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005.
In 2012 she won the annual International Best Translator Award issued by IPTRC. In the same year, she received the Legendary Poet Award from the famous international English poetry website (poetry.com). In 2014 she won the Chinese Contemporary Poetry Translation Award (2013-2014). In 2018 she won Pentasi B World Featured Poet and Pentasi B World Inspirational Poet; the International Icon of Literature of Mewadev Laurel Award in India; In 2019 she won Neruda Award of Italy; the Wrangal’s Golden Peacock Award, Pentasi B Pentasian Award, Pentasi B World Poet Laureate Award and Pentasi B World Golden Voice Poetry 2019 and 2019 “Il Parnaso - Angelo La Vecchia Award” of Italy.
She translated and published seven collections of Chinese poems into English: The Flower Swaying (2014) by Zhao Xingzhong; Tibetan Incense (2014) by ZiYing; The Outlook of Life (2014) by Yang Ruopeng; Different Tunes (2014) by Greensleeves; The Body Forward (2015) by the painter TanJun, A Poetry Biography for White Snake by Liao Shidie and I Find Your Beauty In The Taste Of Your Eyes by Chen Hui (Taste’s Eyes) (2019)
She published an English poetry collection, Sophy English Sonnets, Tuberose (2018). She translated, edited and published Poetry Selection Of PENTASI B 2019 China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards (2019) and Sophy Poetry & Translation (C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine. The Complete Poems Collection Of PENTASI B 2019 China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards（Volume 1-2）are editting.
Sophy Chen is the Host-Organizer & Sponsor of CHINA WORLD POETREE FESTIVAL 2019, PENTASI B World Fellowship, main land of China, 2019. She has successfully organized, sponsored and held PENTASI B 2019 China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards in China.

苏菲（Sophy Chen），本名陈丽华，中国当代诗人、翻译家、出版人、诗歌活动策划人。生于陕西汉中略阳；毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。“苏菲国际翻译出版社”社长、“苏菲世界诗歌奖”创始人、《苏菲诗歌&翻译》(英汉）纸质世界诗刊主编、“苏菲世界诗歌博物馆”馆长、“苏菲诗歌&世界翻译网”主编。PENTASI B 世界诗歌联谊会行政管理、中国翻译协会会员、卡萨克斯坦“世界各民族作家联盟”会员、“世界各民族作家联盟”主席中国文学顾问，中国文学翻译顾问、意大利“聂鲁达文学协会”名誉会员。意大利“帕那苏斯诗歌奖”评审委员会成员。
1989年开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。
2012年，苏菲荣获IPTRC颁发的2012年度 “国际最佳翻译家奖”、同年，荣获著名国际英语诗歌网（poetry.com）传奇诗人奖。2014年荣获中国当代诗歌翻译奖（2013-2014年）。2018年，苏菲荣获Pentasi B 世界杰出诗人奖、Pentasi B 世界精神诗人奖；印度米瓦德威•桂冠奖——2018 “国际文学偶像”奖。2019年，苏菲荣获意大利聂鲁达奖；印度朗格尔金孔雀奖；Pentasi B 2019年度奖；Pentasi B世界桂冠诗人奖；PENTASI B 2019 世界金色之声诗歌奖；意大利 2019 帕那苏斯诗歌奖荣誉评审员。

苏菲出版英语诗歌原创集，“苏菲英语十四行诗”《晚香玉》（2018）。翻译编辑出版诗歌合集《PENTASI B 中国世界诗歌节&苏菲世界诗歌奖诗选》（2019）。主编主译《苏菲诗歌&翻译》(英汉）纸质世界诗刊。主编主译《PENTASI B 2019中国世界诗歌节&苏菲世界诗歌奖诗全集（上下册）》编辑出版中。
