The days are backward,
The nights are disrupted,
A dialogue of centuries occurs
In the union of moments,
A procession of memories
Descend on the threshold,
The universe is lost
On the track of incidents,
The turban of circumstance
Is on the head of life,
Turmoil of breath
Is on the entrance of life,
Documents of night are scattered
On the table of silences,
The ominous shadows are perching
On the windows,
Strange are the scenes,
Anomalous are the airs,
The steps are faltering,
The winds are wobbling,
These all portend
Something will happen,
Perhaps the spectacle will change,
If it doesn’t happen so,
Then time may go on,
Someone should to this night impart,
Whenever it is about to depart,
It should proceed knocking my shut door,
So that I should go
Farther and farther away,
Holding the finger
Of the approaching day.
As I was young my mom planted some flowers
In front of our old wooden house in springs
In my memory they were peony, China rose……
But what I loved the most was the tuberose
In summer night it’s a nice time to me
You could sit in yard to listen the night birds
Singing on cliffs, insects singing in bushes
And look at the moon moving in night skies
However, while your heart was beating at pace
With insects singing and in the sudden
From nowhere floating a ray of fragrance
In the moon a bunch of tuberose blossoms
As these flowers always bloom in moon nights
Your great poem may be living in its fragrance
Above the clouds
Through the plane's port
I saw not so far away in the distance
The upper left
Another aircraft was in flight
In a very long time
It seemed motionless
Like a pin
Its silver body
Shining lit by the sun
Its move was invisible
I knew it was traveling at high speed
I had to go with it
Like a pair of twin brothers
Several clouds blew smoke rings
Idle strolling
Connubial big birds
Laozhuang of Taoist flied up ninety thousand miles
Also could not imagine this scene
Suddenly who changed their course
The pure blue desktop, the skies
Whose mouse gently clicks

Sophy is my pen name, my official name is Lihua Chen. I am a Chinese contemporary poetess and translator, born in 1975 in Lueyang County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. I graduated from English Institute of Xian Foreign Studies University in English Literature. I am the Founder of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website” and its Chief Reviewing Editor, a researcher of the International Poetry Translation and Research Center, a guest chief editor of The World Poets Quarterly (Multilingual) and a member of the Translators Association of China. I began to write Chinese poetry in 1989, and English poetry in 2004. I've published my own poetry (English or Chinese) and translations, in newspapers and magazines. I've translated part of poems in the Chinese-English Textbook "300 New Chinese Poems (1917-2012)" and in World Poetry Yearbook 2013/2014 - and also proofed the three books. I was awarded the “Legendary Poet” in 2012 by the international renowned English poetry website poetry.com . In the same year I won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012, issued by IPTRC. In 2014, I won the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award. I've translated six Chinese poetry collections into English: The Flower Swaying (2014), the original author, Zhao Xingzhong, Tibetan Incense (2014), poetess purple shadow (ZiYing), and The Outlook of Life (2014), Yang Ruopeng, Different

Sophy Chen, Lihua Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, publisher and world poetry manager. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards, the President of Sophy International Translation Publishing House, Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the Chief Editor and Translator of Sophy Chen's Translation World Poetry Yearbook (C-E Bilingual), Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine, and Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, and a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan. Sophy Chen is appointed as a Honorary Membership of PABLO NERUDA ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE and Jury Of “Il Parnaso - Angelo La Vecchia Award” of Italy.
